Curious about whats new ?

Here is all you need to know about our new ballet skirts <3

new and superthin waistband

for this generation of ballet skirts we went with a thin waistband (only one cm) crafted from a soft and strechy tech fabric.

We added our logo to the back to hide the closing stitch and to make it always recognisable from fakes :3

The new waistband fits a waist from 59cm to 89cm reducing the need for a stock in different sizing

Unlike our old contrast waistband the new elastic is easy to roll down and hide, allowing for a seamless outfit for the days where you don`t feel like black

volume volume volume!!

The short skirts are gathered twice on the fabric at the hip height, revisiting the old Florentine Iris silhouette from our butterfly skirts.

The pattern allow for maximum floatiness so that the skirt still moves freely during movement and prevents the fabric from sticking to the body!

The thin waistband allows also for styling the long skirts by tucking the fabric in at the waste.

This creates different shapes and allows for an effortless and casual look in rehearsal without compromising movement !

the right choice

All our skirts are once again crafted out of deadstock fabric. This means we work with what is already there, instead of producing new fabrics from new resources.

This time however, we are also printing on it. Making our own fabrics allows us to obtain always the same constant colours, with minimal differences between batches.

We used a more matte silk fabric for the longer skirts, as it makes them flow nicer while the short ones are crafted out of a sheer lightweight chiffon for max puffiness.

Besides offering now one size only, we also worked with zero waste patterns.

This means we cannot cut the skirts industrially, and each garment is now hand cut directly in our atelier in Venice.

Despite being costly and time consuming, it allows us to reduce almost to zero the trimming of fabric.

because we care. and we hope you do too.
