Fig. 3 – Moscacieca (n., Italian)
/mos.kaˈtjɛ.ka/
lit. “blind fly” — a children’s game

To move in darkness with arms outstretched, hoping to grasp what cannot be seen. A state of obscured clarity, where intuition replaces sight. Trust becomes instinct, and missteps are part of the ritual.

THE SHADOW LEOTARDS are printed with a non anatomically correct silhouette. It is a signal against body standards in ballet, that are - by definiton - non achievable, often even by those who already achieved them.

A shadow can build a creature, confuse your mirrors, shatter your perception (also we did not really want to do monochromatic leotards as it is crazy boring)

THE SHADOWS ARE BARELY THERE, DESIGNED MERELY TO CONFUSE.

Its a little game, a feeling. treat it as such. you can cheat on beauty if you don`t trust it, but you are so much more than a shell.
